The Long-Range Transportation Plan Conceptual Projects is the list of corridors in Spartanburg County anticipated to need transportation improvements within the next 25 years. This Conceptual Project List was compiled through the Spartanburg Area Transportation Study (SPATS) transportation planning process using congestion and crash data analyses as well as feedback from the public, community groups, and stakeholders. Potential projects are included in the Long-Range Plan until a funding source is identified for programming in the short-term Transportation Improvement Program.
The SPATS Policy Committee approved the SPATS Conceptual Projects List Memo (attached below) and LRTP updates on August 8, 2022.
All of the LRTP elements have been approved by the SPATS Policy Committee as of September 21st, 2022 All elements apart of the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan Minor Update are listed below.
